Emanuel Lozada Ruiz,

known artistically as "EmaDrums," is a drummer, musical director, and producer from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. With over 20 years of experience in drumming and musical direction, he has built a distinguished career, earning national and international recognition for his energy, precision, and musical sensitivity.

Currently, Emanuel is the lead drummer for the Jazz Hamilton Orchestra and RPD Church. He also served as music director at Harvest Community Church in Orlando, Florida, where he provided leadership and excellence in live performances. 

 

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with renowned ministries and artists such as Jesús Worship Center (JWC), Virgiemarie, Leo, Luis Santiago, Esther Marie Tirado, Gadiel Espinosa, Abner Albaladejo, Josuel Nicole, among others. In 2025, he participated in Michael Rodriguez's 30-year career celebration, performing live with a full band. This event, recorded in Orlando for an official DVD, showcased the power and versatility of his performance.

As a music educator, Emanuel has taught at institutions such as TDR Academy, Fine Arts of the West Academy, Finalis Music, Victor's Academy, and SESO. His sponsorships with Soultone Cymbals and Collision Drumsticks have led him to offer educational clinics, including his participation in West Drummer Fest, where he shared the stage with renowned drummer Fidel Morales of the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music.

His academic background includes studies in classical music, jazz, and Latin jazz at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where he played in the jazz ensemble under the direction of Professor Edwin Luciano. He has also appeared on television, including La Cadena del Milagro and WAPA-TV with Urbanes La Banda.
